Finding How To Read Piano Music Online

Traditional ways of learning to understand sheet music were unsuccessful due to the complicated learning aids that were used. People around the world are now finding how to read piano music online to learn an instrument correctly and replicate their favorite songs.

Teachers that give lessons on musical comprehension and learning use ineffective methods for teaching a new person how to understand the instrument and replicate what they learn. Many people want to learn an actual song and not confusing or conflicting information from books or lessons. Notes can be learned quickly with a little self-instruction.

Sheet music is designed with a series of written notes that exist on a musical staff. The staff consists of five lines and four spaces in between the lines. The musical notes are easy to remember and are always written the same way. Musical notes are whole notes, quarter notes, half notes, eighth notes and sixteenth notes, and always increase by eight notes.

This spells a phrase like “Every Good Boy Does Fine”.

Any note that is in between the lines is always F, A, C, E. This phrase spells the word “FACE” and is easily remembered. The key signature of the song will determine if the notes will have special meanings like sharps or flats. Advanced musical staffs have an additional musical staff called the bass clef that lists the bass notes that exist on the lower octave of the instrument keys.

Learning the treble clef is the easiest staff to learn in piano melodies and the notes do not change. The musical notes are always the same. The key signature and tempo are the only changes to remember when learning composed sheet music.
