Rick Ross must have been disappointing after not being able to sign 2010′s breakout MC Wiz Khalifa, as he rejected Ross-owned Maybach Music Group’s advances in favour of Atlantic Records. But as things turned out , the Miami MC isn’t complaining now after seeing his own prodigy ‘Wale’ shine.
Rick Ross is very much sure about the talent of the Wale, he consider it equivalent to Kanye’s and same as Yeezy , Wale also has an unorthodox style that could eventually make him as big a star as West. Speaking out with MTV , Ross boldly predicted that Wale is doing to emulate Kanye’s success one day.
Ross, who currently signed both Wale and Meek Mill, said that both his new acquisitions may be a little different than what is being heard in the music industry at the moment, but both are very natural at what they’re doing.
He said that during the past spring , which he spent working with Kanye West in studios; he learned a lot of different concepts and ideas being tried out. He revealed how he was present in the crazy development process of ‘Flashing Lights ,’ whose title was change multiple times, and he thinks Wale has the same Kanye germs when it comes to music making.
Being one of those who have experienced the musical genius of Kanye and the budding talent of Wale , Ross could be considered an authority on the subject. He said that there is no doubt that Yeezy is one of the greatest musicians of this generation , but it won’t be totally odd to say that Wale could become as accomplished an artist as Kanye is now.

The collection is scheduled to drop on May 24, which the Ross clan likes to call “Maybach 24.” Ross revealed that after this group effort, Wale would embark on a solo album, which would be ready in the 2-3 months time frame.
While Ross openly selected Wale to be in the news in the upcoming times , it is the Maybach Music chief himself who finds his name in the news currently, although it’s not the kind he had wished for. Ross was apprehended last week on charges of possessing illegal drugs, although he was released later after being handed a misdemeanour summons. The rapper cum CEO is now in NYC and is billed to perform in Lil Wayne’s I Am Still Music Tour, scheduled to take place this Monday night (March 28).
